August Lesson Plan Part 1

Warm Up: Follow the Leader - Cardio movements: Ski jumps, skipping, bear crawl, running backwards, hop on 1 foot, frog jumps, monkey tail kicks. Finish with Bridges and body shapes.

Beginner Warm Up August Pt 1

Stations: If you don’t want 9 stations combine 7&8. Watch video for more ways to use your stations.

Beginner Stations August Pt 1

  1. Cartwheels
  2. Tick tocks
  3. Handstand = blue band with blue circle
  4. Back roll
  5. Cartwheel - start only 1 foot on and try to land with opposite foot only at the end
  6. Bridge kickover - really try not to use head on the mat.
  7. Splits
  8. Backbend
  9. Trampoline - tuck and pike with taco

Obstacle course: Go around at least 4 times.

Beginner Obstacle Course - Aug Pt 1

  1. Forward Straddle roll
  2. Backbend and/or bridge walking up the hill
  3. Burpee
  4. Back Straddle roll
  5. Hollow to superman hold 5 sec each - twist both directions
  6. Same as Stations
  7. Safety roll
  8. HS Shuffle

Extra ending game - Color game with body positions - Lunge on Red, Table on blue, Tuck on Black, Bridge next to purple, Pike on your favorite color
