Warm up: clapping cardio (see video for suggestions), review body positions, roll out wrists/ankles, bridges

Legend for new coaches:

  • BB = backbends
  • CW = cartwheels
  • RO = round offs
  • TT = tick tocks
  • WF = waterfalls
  • HS = handstands
  • HS SD = handstand snap down
  • DK = donkey kicks
  • FW = forward
  • BW = backward

Stations:

  1. Tramp - DK hands on green (not full handstand!)
  2. BB up/down wall
  3. TT or WF
  4. Conditioning (back extensions, cobra pushups or sit ups with toes tucked under blue mat. Or hip bridges hop on 1 foot)
  5. CW or RO up/down wedge
  6. HS or HS SD
  7. FW or BW rolls
  8. Bear crawl --> bridge --> bear crawl

Circuit:

  1. [skip tramp]
  2. DK HS or tuck up HS
  3. Bridge, hop on 1 foot x 5
  4. More conditioning (same or hollow holds)
  5. CW up/down wedge
  6. HS, HS SD, or DK HS
  7. FW/BW rolls
  8. Bridge --> bear crawl

End activity: show and tell or add on (1st student picks skill, 2nd copies then adds another skill, etc.)
