More Information About Our Skill Clinics
Skill Clinics are offered throughout the month of February with our Cheer Coaches.
Clinics alternate by grade groupings, K-6th and 6th-12th grades.
Some Skill Clinics and days we will offer both grade groupings back to back.
Additionally, Sun February 15th & 22nd we will offer tumbling-specific clinics.
Select clinics require prerequisites for participation.

Elevate Your Jumps
Want higher, cleaner jumps? Athletes will train toe touches, pikes, and hurdlers with a focus on flexibility, correct arm and body positions, timing, power, jump height, and safe landings so jumps look strong and sharp.
Prerequisites: No experience necessary
Sharp Motions and Performance Clinic
Clean motions and confident performance make a huge difference. Athletes will drill High Vs, Low Vs, punches, and diagonals while working on speed, placement, strong facials, and performance energy to bring routines to life.
Prerequisites: No experience necessary
CheerFUNdamentals
A great starting point for new or younger cheerleaders. Athletes will learn and begin to clean up beginner jumps, motions, cheer terminology, and receive a basic introduction to tumbling in a fun, supportive environment.
Prerequisites: New to cheer or still learning the basics
Technique Tune-Up
For athletes who already know the basics and want to look more polished. This clinic focuses on cleaning up motions, jumps, and tumbling with tight body positions, controlled landings, and consistent execution.
Prerequisites: Experienced with basic cheer jumps and motions
Back Handspring Basics
Working toward a back handspring? Athletes will build proper technique and body shapes through safe drills and progressions using mats, trampolines, and spotting. Stations are level-appropriate with individual feedback to build confidence.
Prerequisites: Forward roll, backward roll, cartwheel, handstand, backbend, tick tock, roundoff
Back Handspring Progressions and Connections
Already performing a back handspring independently and ready to level up? This clinic focuses on standing and running back handsprings, roundoff back handsprings, and handspring connections. Athletes will refine technique, improve consistency, and gain confidence through drills, spotting, and individual coach attention.
Prerequisites: Back handspring independently with no spot on any surface
Tuck and Beyond Clinic
This advanced clinic is for athletes preparing for back tucks and higher-level tumbling. Training focuses on power, technique, height, body control, and clean landings using safe progressions, level-based stations, and skill connections when appropriate.
Prerequisites: Standing and running roundoff back handspring, multiple back handspring connections
Dead Mat Domination
Tumbling on dead mats is a different game. Athletes will learn how to generate power without extra bounce, stay tight through skills, and stick strong landings. Training emphasizes control and consistency on dead mats and Marley flooring with safe progressions and individual feedback.
Prerequisites: Basic tumbling skills on a spring or bouncy surface
Triple Threat Cheer (Jumps, Motions & Tumbling)
A high-energy, all-in-one clinic designed to build well-rounded cheerleaders. Athletes will improve jump technique and landings, sharpen motions with strong placement and performance, and practice level-appropriate tumbling with a focus on clean execution and confidence.
Prerequisites: No experience necessary
Walkover and Step-Out Connections Basics
Athletes will build clean, controlled walkovers and step-out skills including front walkovers, back walkovers, flysprings, and front handspring step-outs. Training focuses on body positions, clean lines, smooth transitions, hand placement, balance, flexibility, and control through safe progressions and level-based stations.
